[EVENT] Red-L Promotional Tour

It was Fashion Week for Boulevard Shopping Mall last week.  Was strolling there on Sunday and saw the event lineup for that day.  One of them was a promotional tour by a new K-pop girl group named "Red-L".  My daughter wanted to watch a live K-pop performance, and since we were there and it was still early, so we waited until the performance time.  The were here in conjuction with NOLZA concert next week.

Got another piece from MPH calendar done.  I was afraid that I might mess up the piece.  So I chose to be on the safe side and left the bunnies as is.

[EVENT] National-Level Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen Day

Had a chance to visit this year's National-Level Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen Day (HPPNK) celebration held at Kota Samarahan civic center's compound.

First thing that caught my attention was these colorful cake rolls!  Beautiful designs based on kek lapis idea.

A decorative garden made from different types of vegetables.  The mushrooms were made up of garlics and peanuts!

[COLORING] What Have I Completed?

It's been a while since my last posting.  So, here are some pieces that I've completed...

And last but not least, finally completed my Secret Garden after working on and off for 2 months!  I don't think it look as impressive as what other colorists does, but I'm pretty statisfied with it.  :)

[COLORING] Colour My World 2016 Calendar!

Recently, I feel more excited going to bookstore rather than going to clothings or skin care outlets.

I have been seeing postings in coloring group that this month's Marie Claire (Malaysia) comes with a free Therapy Planner.  Have been trying to get my hands on it since late last month... However, my attempt has failed.  While I finally saw the issue displayed at MPH store, but sadly there's no free planner that comes along with it!  Went to ask the staff on duty why stores in West Malaysia has free planner, and he answered outlet here get different stock!  How unfair!  Shouldn't they divide the stock equally among all stores?

Anyway, luckily something else was able to take a little bit of my disappointment away.  Managed to grab a copy of the MPH 2016 Color My World calendar.  Very nice pieces in it.. Hopefully I have the time to color them all.

[NATURE] Up in the sky.......

I love staring up to the sky whenever I get a chance, better it be during the day or at night.  Perhaps hoping to find something unusual up there?  hehe~~ Well, our atmosphere has been covered in thick haze the past one month or so, and it's indeed great to get clear view and fresher air back in action!!

Took this one on the early morning of 09-Nov-2015, slightly before 6 am when I was on my way out to send my daughter to school.  We don't get to see moon and planets line up in straight line visible to naked eyes very often.

My attempt to use 4 shades only - red, silver, gold, black. Pretty satisfying piece for me as I was using my 30 year old Colleen colored pencils.

From "Color Me Mindful - Birds"
I carry this small booklet in my handbag along with a small box of 12 colors Staedler Water Color Pencils. A piece I worked on for the last one month while waiting for my kids to get off from school.  While friends said it's nice, I feel that I had spoiled the peacock.

Ordered this nasi lemak for my daughter.  The coconut milk rice was so flavourful it really touches my taste buds.  My daughter ate 2 servings of it!

A behind cut from the magazine was released by his agency SOOP Management today via their Facebook page.

As filming for "Secret Agent" has already started at overseas location until December, the release of "A Man and A Woman" might be slated for early next year instead of this year.

Took me a while to complete this piece.  Was doing a few pieces together including one for MPH's coloring contest.  So it was a relief to finally get this done!  Not quite satisfied with it.  Will try to improve and do better next time!

Call me crazy, but these books really give me a calming effect by just looking at them!  Here are my collection from end of last week!

Bought "The Colorful" at the Faber Castell kiosk in Plaza Merdeka.  The two Color Me Mindful series were from Popular Bookstore with promo price of only RM12 each!  

These two were also bought from Popular Bookstore with promo price for members.  I love "Flower Store" (left) very much.  Very pretty and elegant illustration.  Thought it has same feel as "Beautiful Day".
"Only Story" consist of illustrations from fairy tale stories like Peter Pan, Cinderella, etc... 

These are today's arrival from Merry Bunny - "Beautiful Day", "Vintage" and "Flower".  The others are free gifts from her.  :)

These are also todays' arrival, but from MPH Bookstore from one of my backdated orders.

Bought these from MerryBunny.  Although her pricing is a bit more pricey, but for titles that are not available in stores here, I guess it's not that bad.  Her service is good and fast!  She includes cute freebies too!

These are my orders from MPH Online store.  I pre-ordered "Lost Ocean" early last month. Wasn't expecting the title to reach me way before expected delivery date.  Comes with Staedtler Triplus fineliner, a Whimpy Kid's Read-a-thon badge and a MPH bookmark.  "Nature 70 Designs to Help You De-Stress" is from one of my previous outstanding order due to stock unavailability.

So many books, so little time to color!  What am I to do?!?!~~~  LOL!  Guess I'll take my sweet time.  Looking at the books itself already makes me feel calm and relax.  Hehehe~~~

[FOOD] Simple lunch menu

School has been out since Monday due to worsening haze.  Stayed at home most of the time.  In mood for chicken rice today, so this is what we have for lunch.  Served with soup from remaining chicken broth, fried chicken and green vegetables with oyster sauce.

I'm not really into fragrances, but since it's free for members, why not just claim it!  The stock hasn't arrive when I went to the counter, and I was asked to leave my name and phone number.. Managed to pick them up today.

Furniture brand "iLoom" held an autograph session with actor Gong Yoo at their "Moving Home Cafe" Event location at Common Ground yesterday afternoon.

Gong Yoo actually participated in 3 sessions for this event.
