[COLORING] What Have I Completed?

It's been a while since my last posting.  So, here are some pieces that I've completed...

This was my entry for the MPH's "Color My World" Contest

And last but not least, finally completed my Secret Garden after working on and off for 2 months!  I don't think it look as impressive as what other colorists does, but I'm pretty statisfied with it.  :)

[COLORING] Colour My World 2016 Calendar!

Recently, I feel more excited going to bookstore rather than going to clothings or skin care outlets.

I have been seeing postings in coloring group that this month's Marie Claire (Malaysia) comes with a free Therapy Planner.  Have been trying to get my hands on it since late last month... However, my attempt has failed.  While I finally saw the issue displayed at MPH store, but sadly there's no free planner that comes along with it!  Went to ask the staff on duty why stores in West Malaysia has free planner, and he answered outlet here get different stock!  How unfair!  Shouldn't they divide the stock equally among all stores?

Anyway, luckily something else was able to take a little bit of my disappointment away.  Managed to grab a copy of the MPH 2016 Color My World calendar.  Very nice pieces in it.. Hopefully I have the time to color them all.

[NATURE] Up in the sky.......

I love staring up to the sky whenever I get a chance, better it be during the day or at night.  Perhaps hoping to find something unusual up there?  hehe~~ Well, our atmosphere has been covered in thick haze the past one month or so, and it's indeed great to get clear view and fresher air back in action!!

Took this one on the early morning of 09-Nov-2015, slightly before 6 am when I was on my way out to send my daughter to school.  We don't get to see moon and planets line up in straight line visible to naked eyes very often.

Was stick at traffic light junction late this morning, when I suddenly stare out of the window and saw this partial sun halo.

My attempt to use 4 shades only - red, silver, gold, black. Pretty satisfying piece for me as I was using my 30 year old Colleen colored pencils.

From "Color Me Mindful - Birds"
I carry this small booklet in my handbag along with a small box of 12 colors Staedler Water Color Pencils. A piece I worked on for the last one month while waiting for my kids to get off from school.  While friends said it's nice, I feel that I had spoiled the peacock.

[FOOD] This evening's dinner

Ordered this nasi lemak for my daughter.  The coconut milk rice was so flavourful it really touches my taste buds.  My daughter ate 2 servings of it!

I know I won't be able to color all the books I've bought, but still it feels great to have them as collection, especially when Popular Bookstore here are giving good bargain for members.  I just simply can't resist!  :D
